some random news....i just saw the grudge yesterday....and let me tell you...if you have a heart problem DO NOT GO AND SEE THIS MOVIE....

haha...i loved it..i thot it was extremely well done...but omg its traumatizing for some people. after the initial jumps that i had..i learned to just hold my breath and just stay chill.

haha..my sister screamed the entire movie..had to take two breaks...and watched half the movie with her coat covering one eye, and her other eye peeking through her hand.

its really the best scary movie ive seen. and its not gruesome. i hate gruesome..so there might be ppl who say other movies are worse...but this one scares you shitless without making you ill.

ok theres my lil review....besides that im 18 now ^_^. oh and...i failed my driving test weeeoooo...haha but not the driving part. that bullshit written part. weirdest fuckin questions ever. i took three tests the day before and got all 100%...i read the book and i was like..ok im cool...day of the test im lookin at the screen goin what the fuck!

one of the questions was "you are at a 4 way intersection and want to make a turn into a driveway AFTER the intersection.... do you A) turn on ur blinker at the intersection...b) at the drive way...c) not at all as to not confuse ppl...and d) some bullshit thing i dont remember.

sooo...just in case it seems obvious to you...leave ur answers..and then ill say what i said...which every one else said too!

    and as to the question. ._.'' erm.. i'm still too young to do a driving test where i am, but i think i'd probably have said [a].... but [d] sounds funny. ^^;;;;;;;

I prefer greusome myself. I never really liked scary movies... Loved the gory ones though. ^^

I'm not old enough to take the test yet, but I would say [b]. I know I'm wrong though...

hm... sounds like a good movie.. tho with my vivid imagination, i think i'll be having interesting nitemares for the next 6 months, had i gone and seen the movie.

as for the test thingy, i'd say b. seems logical enough. But i'm probably wrong BECAUSE it seems logical -____-

Eepie... me dun like movies. xD

As for driving test.. yeah those suck so hard. They mean to confuse your head off so you fail. x_x I barely passed the last one I took for renewal. Good luck next time though.

r.e. The Grudge: one question...*cringes* better or worse than The Ring? Cause damn if I don't still get skittish every time I walk past a television screen in the dark, even now. o_O That movie's made me forever wary of all Japanese horror film remakes...and the original ones as well, of course. The scariest thing about them isn't watching them; it's the images they leave behind, I'm telling you! The images!! *gets carted off wailing to the loony bin*

*cough* Uh...and I have no idea how to drive, but to me b) sorta makes sense. People probably wouldn't be driving fast just off an intersection, so it'd probably be okay. Probably.

ill wait for a couple more answers and then ill say..

but anyways..grudge worse than ring...umm..yah id say it was.

i mean..i didnt think the ring was that scary. i mean yah i was a lil nervous bout clicking on the thing that said "dont watch this" on the dvd extra...but i wasnt that scared. but grugde...fuckin scary. haha..but i just saw it a second time. this time my older sister of 10 yrs..screamed and turned her face to my shoulder. haha..i had to tell her when all the scary parts were coming up...but she still flipped out.

yah..ive been having nightmares bout the movie still. well..i dunno if they are nightmares...its more like...i just dream about the movie. im not exactly scared tho..whatever im not making sense.

but id say go watch it anyways..its really an awesome movie. great effects..and cutting and all that jazz. that shit is gunna win mad awards.

    Wheee, first post. o_O

I saw The Grudge the day it came out in theaters, and I have to admit that it was pretty scary. Although, I saw the Japanese original a couple months earlier, so I knew what to expect. . .most of the time. The American remake added in several scenes that were MUCH creepier than the original.

I don't think it was scarier than the American Ring, though. That movie scared the crap out of me, the hair on my arms was litterally standing straight up in the theater for the last ten minutes before the end.

The Grudge IS scary, though, and even though it's rated PG-13 it's not for the light-hearted.
